KEEPING A MISSION‑CRITICAL OPS PLATFORM RUNNING—WHILE MAKING IT BETTER
CapTrack is a custom operations platform used to manage case files, funding applications, service providers (law firms, medical providers, etc.), and the documents and accounting workflows that keep work moving. When the product needed stabilization, feature expansion, and deeper reliability across its most sensitive systems—email, PDFs, and QuickBooks Online—SolidGiant partnered with the team to ship improvements in tight, testable phases without disrupting day‑to‑day operations.

The Outcome
CapTrack moved from “works most of the time” to “we can trust it under pressure.”
Across a long-running, real-world engagement, we tackled the issues that matter most in an operations-heavy product: data consistency, predictable workflows, and integrations that don’t break when edge cases show up. That included everything from fixing production-impacting bugs (missing records in statements, search failures caused by trailing spaces, user actions that could accidentally delete cases) to delivering major upgrades like improved PDF generation and modernized email handling.
Most importantly: we kept the team moving. Work was delivered in an iterative loop—deploy to staging, verify against expected behavior (often matching legacy logic), then release to production with clear test steps and fast follow-through on feedback.
“Congratulations on getting everything working in CapTrack. I really appreciate all the time you have put in on this project!”

Easy Transition
We treated stability like a feature.
Instead of “big bang” changes, the work was broken into small, verifiable deliverables: reproduce the issue, confirm the expected behavior, ship to staging, test, then deploy. That approach made it possible to handle urgent fixes (like statement logic, dashboard stat discrepancies, email workflow quirks, and QuickBooks sync errors) while still moving forward on larger initiatives.
We also put guardrails in place—like reliable backups and safer workflows—so the team could operate confidently even while the platform was evolving.
Amazing Results
-
QuickBooks modernization and migration tooling to support changes in accounting structure—plus work to handle real-world QuickBooks behaviors (including tricky validation/tax-related errors and account mapping edge cases).
-
Email sending/receiving improvements, including migration work tied to Mailgun and fixes for common failure points (reply behavior, formatting, attachment handling, and odd filename edge cases).
-
Document & PDF upgrades, including improvements to generators used for payoff letters and other operational documents—plus work to make printing and PDFs behave consistently.
-
Workflow and data-quality fixes that eliminated “ghost problems” (search failing due to trailing spaces, missing address fields caused by lookup edge cases, missing activity timestamps, and fragile UI paths).
-
Scalability-focused enhancements, including portfolio segregation and support for transacting with unique QBO accounts per portfolio, plus new fee templates and usability improvements like filtering.
“You all have made a tremendous amount of progress the last two weeks! Thanks for all the hard work.”
